As discussed in my previous post, Twitter will soon be ceasing their current account management system (Basic Auth) that Twply currently utilizes to acquire usernames. With this premise, Twply has integrated the commonly known authentication system of OAuth for new user registrations.
Please note that this change does not affect users that are currently registered on Twply, so you do not need to upgrade or re-register your account.

Recently, Twply‘s development team have been working diligently to keep in line with the latest updates and practices with Twitter, so you will continue to receive your @mentions from Twply at a faster pace and with better deliverability than ever before to your Inbox. Here are some other changes that are currently happening with this quality @mention notification service:
Consolidation
To help make life easier for you, Twply will be sending you one e-mail for every few @ mentions that you receive. This helps user satisfaction by not receiving a single e-mail per message, especially if you receive a lot of @mentions on your Twitter account, and helps with the performance of our service as well.
OAuth

Some of you may have noticed a recent decrease or absence of your @replies to your Inbox, and then a sudden change of our service resuming. This is because Twply has just recently changed ownership and is now hosted/overseen by leading internet marketing company: iEntry, Inc.
The reason for the absence in service was because of Twply changing servers and could not be fully operational in transit. With this premise, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
You can always keep updated about Twply either by following our twitter account and/or by this blog. If there are any updates regarding this service, I will immediately post them in both places to help you stay informed.
If you require assistance or support, please do not hesitate to e-mail support @ twply.com (no spaces) or by sending a PM via Twitter to @twply. I would be glad to promptly assist you with any inquiry that you may have regarding Twply.
Happy tweeting everyone!
